Fazenda Santa Izabel was born in 1970 when the patriarch of Dal''Ava family bought unproductive lands and then started production of some of the finest green coffees around all the Volcanic Region of Pocos de Caldas.  Today the farm is conducted by his son Mr. Luiz Paulo Dal''Ava together with the grandson Francislei Dal''Ava.

In 2013 the Pocos de Caldas Coffee Quality Contest crowned Fazenda Santa Izabel with the 2nd and 3rd places, grace to some very fruity coffees that they are able to find crop after crop with this family dedicated to the green coffee quality productions.
